COMING SOONThe series is set against the backdrop of the 2005 withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and the evacuation of Gush Katif as part of the Disengagement Plan. It follows Brigadier General Shila Mazeh, a knitted-kippah-wearing officer and the commander of the operation, as he faces the difficult mission that puts him in conflict with his own community and close family. His wife, Naama, is firmly opposed to the evacuation of the bloc, while his sister, Idit, and her husband, Meir, are residents of Gush Katif. Their son, Lavi, struggles to find his place between the settlement community and the waves of the sea. Meanwhile, his deputy, Avinoam Brenner, a kibbutz member, presents a critical stance toward Mazeh’s policy of accommodation toward the settlers.
